Every so often we have to roll up our sleeves and tackle the tupperware with month old leftover in the back of the fridge.  Yup, it’s time to say bye bye to your amateur experimentation with the life cycle of mold and whatever else you might have growing in that forgotten corner.  Let’s freshen up your fridge with a few quick tips:

.Empty the refrigerator.

.Toss anything that is old, moldy and outdated.

.Take out trays and other removable sections of the fridge.

.Clean drawers and shelves with warm soapy water.

.Be sure to clean any food particles which have collected in the bottom of fridge.

.Wipe the inside of the fridge using a sponge or papertowel and soapy water.

.Use a solution of 2 tbsp baking soda to 1 quart of water or 1 cup vinegar and 1 gallon warm water to wipe the interior of fridge. This helps odor control.

.Clean drawers and shelves with warm soapy water.

.Put back shelves, racks and drawers.

.Wipe the exterior of the fridge with soapy water.

.Replace food to refrigerator, making sure to wipe sticky jars.

.Viola! You’re done.
